Knee pain affects 1 in 4 adults, impacting quality of life and making simple movements such as standing up from sitting a challenge. In this workshop we will discuss the common causes of knee pain and provide practical exercises you can do
at home to reduce pain so you can move with confidence and return to the activities and sports you love.


  • Learn practical stretching and strengthening exercises to improve knee function during movement.
  • Gain insight into the root causes of your knee pain
  • Receive guidance from a qualified physiotherapist on proper loading and exercise technique to prevent further discomfort.
  • Connect with like-minded individuals and share experience and tips for managing knee pain.


(20 minutes of engaging theory, followed by 40 minutes of exercises and a lively Q/A session.)

  • Understanding knee pain : Discussion on common causes and contributing factors of knee pain
  • Demonstrating 5 effective stretching exercises to improve flexibility and reduceknee pain .
  • Demonstration of 5 strengthening exercises targeting the muscles around the knee joint to promote stability and support.
  • Guidance on common mistakes people make during exercise that may exacerbate knee pain and how to avoid them.

This workshop is designed for those seeking a deeper understanding of movement and how to enjoy a better quality of life in a pain free body.
